My Story

Whether it’s working with attorneys to maneuver in their careers, helping women optimize their health, diving into my community to support sobriety and understand addiction, or fly people to where they need to go, I’m here to help you navigate this world.

Let’s go!

I help people navigate this world.

Hi! I’m Dianna. I’m a wife, mother, USAF veteran, entrepreneur, professional pilot, and a few other things. It’s awkward to be known only by labels, and I hope you don’t limit yourself to tag lines that fit on a business card, either!

My husband Mark and I have been married for 15 years. Our toddlers Mason and Caleb, are the cutest little boys you’ve ever met. I know all you moms must feel so proud of your kids, too. Don’t you just love watching them discover new things, use their imagination during playtime, learn to communicate, love, and just be happy? Oh gosh, there are struggles with parenting and marriage (let’s be real), but I wouldn’t change this love for anything.

I learned to fly as a teenager, and WOW, do I have stories to share with you. From getting my ratings, flying taildraggers, being selected for pilot training in the Air Force, flying heavy cargo planes all over the world in wartime and peacetime, to flying in the majors- it’s all been a privilege. I think flying has taught me the most about honing your skills, procedures and protocol, and safety. I have to be honest:  it’s a rush! Want to talk about flying and other adventures? Check this out. I’m certainly a pilot at heart, but it’s also allowed me to go back to school, to work in business, and to give back to my community as well.

After many years of building my career, I wanted to give back to the world that’s given so much to me. I got involved in several philanthropy organizations and even started a local chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs. Additionally, I volunteer my time with several local and national nonprofits, chair or co-chair events and conferences for worthy organizations, and do public speaking and advocate for several wonderful causes. Please please read more about that here.

My Family

Mark and I were both in the Air Force. In fact, he continues to serve today, and I’m so so proud of his accomplishments (as he is of mine). After I got out of the military, I continued with a full-time airline career, and our go-go-go lifestyle continued. I can’t say either situation was “easier” because each had its challenges. But we’ve really enjoyed having two full independent careers. We talk about the different opportunities we each have, and we help each other see the pro/con list clearly. In the end, we love the choices each other makes about how to serve in this world. In my opinion, that’s what makes a good marriage- a healthy support system. When we started having children, our lives changed just like all couples at that stage. Our boys are really fantastic addition to our tribe. Since I’m an eternal tomboy, I’ve loved having a house full of guys. We’re one big rough-and-tumble family. Don’t get me wrong- I find my balance with my girlfriends, competing in pageants, and the right amount of ME-time.

That’s what I learned from my mom. She taught me a lot about embracing my feminine side. We lost mom on September 21, 2018 (my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary) to cancer. Oh, how my heart breaks for you if you’ve ever walked the cancer journey or have a loved one who has. I find comfort in the love of my family and friends, but I also do some work with the American Cancer Society. My dad has been a strong parent all my life. He taught me to fly and still goes on adventures with us on our land in Virginia, where I grew up. We had a great summer visit (after a safe space distancing plan due to the current Covid-19 pandemic) and went on hikes, boat rides, and lots of running around with the boys.
